Baby Neri is a mix between a pony and a mermaid. Please don't think about the logistics of that; it will hurt your brain.
I started with a Teeny Tiny Twin base and cut off the back legs. I used aluminum foil to form the shape of the tail then covered it with sculpy and boiled to set. the scales of the tail were created using Apoxie Sculpt. I created her fin using Fantasy Film sandwiched in between transparency film. I added wire to the back of the tail to bend it into shape and added double sided tape and glitter to accent. The gems are all Swarovski crystals and pearl scrapbooking stickers. I rehaired this little girl with three different nylon hair colors from Restore doll. The pins were all painstakingly repainted white and then pearl with a finishing coat of varnish. I boil permed straw curls for the hair hanging down; simple sheer ribbon accents the curls. All paint was Testors Acrylics mixed with Daler-Rowley Pearlescent Acrylic Inks.
You have to cut the legs off in order to get the aluminum foil base into the pony. It's only a matter of taking an exacto knife to the plastic, it's not really hard.
Great choice of colors, and design! And the G1 nb pony is so perfectly cute! They resemble the original mer-ponies of the Hasbro line! ^-^
But howcam you cut her legs? I doesn't sound easy.
